Morris View is the only rehabilitation center in New Jersey that has a complete wound care program with a board-certified surgeon directing all wound care. Our experienced nursing staff provides specialized wound care treatment that includes e-stim, diathermy, wound VAC therapy and dynamic pressure relief mattresses.

We have rigorous protocols in place to stimulate tissue growth and faster healing of existing wounds, and to prevent the development of new wounds or pressure sores.
Our nurses change wound dressings frequently to maintain a clean and bacteria-free wound bed, and encourage and assist our patients to turn as needed. We provide surface support that includes low pressure air loss mattresses, and special wheelchair cushions. Of critical importance to the healing process is proper nutrition. Our dietitians work closely with our nurses and doctors to ensure every resident receives the diet they need.
