Dear Residents, Staff, and Families:
I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy new year and pray that it is one of happiness, health and success.
As you are aware, we are in the midst of a Covid-19 outbreak. We are taking all appropriate infection control measures per, CDC and NJ Department of Health guidelines. We continue to monitor all staff and residents for signs and symptoms of Covid-19 and practice infection control measures in all interactions. We take this responsibility seriously and will continue doing everything humanly possible to ensure everyone’s good health and well-being.
Visitation is allowed as per CDC guidelines. Visitors must be screened upon entering the facility and follow all infection control guidelines.
Residents can continue to go out on pass with advanced notice and will be required to follow facility policies and procedures.
Vaccination clinics, including for boosters, are continuing as necessary, for both residents and staff.
I am also happy to share with you the return of two of our favorite department heads, Director of Nursing, Shanell Mendoza, RN, and Director of Recreation, Karen Hogan ADC, CDP. We are pleased to welcome them back as part of our fantastic team here at Morris View Healthcare Center.
I am excited for the year ahead and look forward to continuing working with everyone to continue our great tradition of “Revolutionizing Care Delivery”.
